Ceremony, Mt Vernon Garden in Washington Park
Washington Park is known for its beautiful gardens, which include 54 flower beds in the Big Garden along Downing Street and Mt Vernon Garden inside the Park.
The Mt Vernon Garden, where our ceremony will be held, overlooks Grasmere Lake. It is an exact replica of Martha Washington's garden at Mt. Vernon on the banks of the Potomac River in Alexandria, Virginia.

Box, wine and love letters
We are hoping to incorporate this into our ceremony. There's a good description here. I love the idea of opening it up on our 10th anniversary, and replenishing the box with a new bottle of wine and love letters to be enjoyed on our 20th.

I hadn't planned on doing anything like this, but really liked it when I came across it in our photographer's blog. And I'm pretty sure the park won't allow us to have guests toss anything during the recessional.
